About me
I did not plan to become a coach, strategist and guide. I thought I would finish my working life as a senior executive, then head off around the world competing in whatever trail running events took my fancy.
Then I was made redundant. It soon dawned on me that this was a gift: the chance for a second career, and the opportunity to think deeply about what mattered to me.
After a period of introspection, I realised I wanted to help people grappling with change. It was a natural extension of what I had been doing as a mentor at work, and as Head of Strategy and Innovation in the News Division of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.
Today I combine the skills of a coach, the curiosity of a journalist and the knowledge gained from decades as a senior leader to help people become the best they can be.
I offer executive-level advice across strategy, leadership, change management, culture, communications and the application of AI, drawing on more than 30 years of experience in media, digital innovation and workforce transformation.

I develop external and internal communication strategies, crisis communication plans and post-crisis reviews that turn lessons into meaningful improvement.
I audit current AI use, recommend practical approaches, establish governance frameworks and help teams build a culture of safe experimentation.
I design and lead sessions that help people work through difficult territory, achieve mutual understanding and ensure every voice is heard.
I deliver keynotes and panel contributions on leadership, strategy, culture, innovation and the factors that shape digital transformation.
Why me?
I spent more than three decades working at the intersection of media and technology. At the ABC, I helped drive digital transformation, led national services across digital, radio and television, and was responsible for more than 450 people and an annual budget exceeding $50 million.
I have built high-performing teams, turned around unhealthy cultures, mentored emerging leaders and guided innovative projects from early ideas through to national products.
I am comfortable in ambiguity and relish uncertainty. Both create opportunities for people with the courage and insight to grasp them.
My work is guided by humility, honesty, trust, empathy and integrity.
